Hi, I’m Cindi Joy.

At my core I am a deep feeling, intuitive, joyful, and creative person. As an artist, I see the world through perspective, form, and function. Practicing Hellerwork Structural Integration allows me to apply my artistic mind to the form and function of the body. As a practitioner, I use my natural gifts and my training to lead you along a process of self-discovery through your tissues. What you uncover within yourself on this journey are the gems that will stay with you long after our work together has completed.

Body work was not my first path. I completed a BA in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from Portland State University and held a variety of administrative positions at an environmental consulting firm before structural integration found me. In every position, I was seeking answers to the same questions: What is the whole system doing and what does an individual part within the system experience? As I transitioned into Hellerwork, fascia became the system and each bone, ligament, muscle and nerve the individuals that captivate me. Working with you to find the undercurrents of tensions and strains is infinitely rewarding for me when their discovery initiates an unwinding into more wholeness, presence, grace, and freedom within your body.

The best resources I can direct you to already exist in the container of your own body. I look forward to stepping into the unknown with you as a guide and companion as you reclaim the physical integrity that is innately yours.
